Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American model and actor. He gained fame due to his role in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. Apart from his appearances as a character in the film, Qualls has appeared in over 22 TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since the age of 14 old. He was able to get rid of his cancer after two years. Treatment at a young age had an adverse effect on the body. This impeded his growth. When he first started to act, financial stability appeared to be his goal. The man had experienced hardship in his childhood. When I've lived in such a shabby way for so long I have to be able to enjoy this level of financial security. Otherwise the world seems beyond my reach. Also, looking back to his own youth He wants to change the course of the issue of bullying. DJ states "Cruelty causes pain to my soul." DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel and in real life. He does however admit that directors don't usually make him the ideal choice for those kinds of jobs. Someday he would love to become a father in the future, when he could be able to devote more time to his work and more time to his son.
