Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American TV presenter, model and actress is an American comedian. The new queen of Drama by several media outlets, Panganiban has been hailed as being among the most experienced and talented actresses in the Philippines. As the youngest competitor in show history her score was second. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, became very sick in 2012 as a result of the strep-pneumonia bacteria. She desperately needed medical assistance that could save her life and was put on ECMO life support at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. The kidneys of her did not heal after she developed an infection with septicae and eventually had multiple organ malfunctions. Her condition forced her to alter her lifestyle around hemodialysis as well as the peritoneal dialysate. After an hospitalization of 80 days Angelica nearly died but was on the road of healing. Angelica endured dialysis treatments for more than a decade and half before she could undergo an organ transplant. The mother of Angelica was the organ donor. On September 13 2013 Angelica and her mom went through an operation to transplant their kidneys in two renowned hospitals just across the street from each other-Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always wanted to be an actress and singer she is still working toward the dream.
